Introducing Dooake Sonrandein an TV, Radio and Podcast presenter from Nigeria.Dooake joined the Startup Stiwdio in August 2023, and the main reason for joining is the abundance of knowledge and resources to help his business grow. We caught up with Dooake to learn more about his business and what Black History Month means to him.
Tell me about your business idea and concept?
Black Charcoal media will focus on creating and showcasing diverse media content. Native Radio and TV App will be launching soon to create a balance between choice, convenience and demand. Delivering a scheduled service of podcast and live radio content.
What does Black History Month mean to you?
As a black man this month is important to me. I use the month to reminisce and remember our history and the memories we as Africans share in our culture and heritage. The features and characteristics I possess as a black makes me proud and motivates me to do more. To celebrate Black History Month, Dooake created a special episode of the Afro Mix Show (Talk to Ake) podcast with music showcasing the beauty of the black heritage.
