Rachel Ashley:
Rachel began her career with the Commonwealth Bank before progressing to Aegon as Marketing Director responsible for Hong Kong SAR, Singapore, Japan, Thailand and Australia. She went on to join Zurich Financial Services in Australia with responsibility for driving transformation then became Head of Strategic Portfolio Delivery for QBE Insurance Australian and Pacific operations.
Since returning to Wales, Rachel has held Non-Executive Director positions and is as an Advisory Board Member to various SMEs. She is also a committee member for the Ministry of Justice UK North Wales Recruitment Advisory Committee.
Rachel Ashley is a graduate of Swansea University and the Australian Graduate School of Management. She is a member of the Institute of Directors, the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Women on Boards.

Angels Invest Wales is growing the Business Angel Community in Wales. We encourage syndication and a portfolio approach, with investments starting at £2,000 per individual. Alongside our members, our co-investment fund has invested over £5 million into thirty Welsh businesses. Back in 2022 We helped to launched a new women angel group, Women Angels of Wales. This group now boosts 40+ members all looking to support female led businesses.
