To Feel, not Fear: Reimagining Science through Art and Stories:
Arunima Mathew is a science communicator, interdisciplinary artist, and researcher with a dual background in life sciences and fine art. Her work aims to make complex scientific and medical concepts accessible, engaging, and impactful through multimedia art, visual storytelling, and interdisciplinary collaborations.
Arunima will be sharing her journey and research exploring cancer communication through tumour-inspired art, gene-inspired interactive learning tools, and comics about Leukaemia and Melanoma, developed in collaboration with clinicians. Reflecting on how art, stories, and creative engagement help people learn, communicate, and emotionally connect with science, especially when it comes to something as complex and personal as Cancer.

Tammie Esslemont is co-founder of a Nature Over Natter, a project that empowers young aritsts across the UK to engage with the climate crisis in hopeful and positive way.
