Masters degree in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry .
3. Tell me about your business idea and concept ?
AFJ Cardiff provides Afro Dance classes, workshops, and 1-1 sessions in Cardiff, offering a vibrant way to share and celebrate African culture. We represent dance styles from across the African continent, creating inclusive environments where everyone feels welcome. Our approach blends education, fitness, and culture, making our classes both fun and enriching. Our workshops delve deeper into specific Afro Dance styles and explore how they can be combined with other dance forms. Since its founding, AFJ has grown rapidly and is proudly recognized as Wales’s first Afro-Dance dedicated organization, and the first to be featured on ITV Wales. Following the success of our first-anniversary performance, the AFJ Cardiff dance team was officially established in response to overwhelming positive feedback.
4. Why have you joined the startup Stiwdio ?
Joining the Startup Stiwdio would be an incredible opportunity for me and my business, AFJ Cardiff. By becoming a member, I’d gain access to a supportive environment where I can work alongside other entrepreneurs, helping me develop both personally and professionally. The tailored mentoring and expert advice in areas like marketing, finance, and business development would be invaluable for navigating challenges and scaling my business.
Additionally, the co-working spaces would provide a productive environment for me to connect with others, collaborate, and expand my network, which is essential as I grow AFJ Cardiff. The access to industry events and workshops would also help me stay informed about the latest trends and give me the tools I need to further establish AFJ Cardiff as a pioneering force in the dance community. This kind of support would be a game-changer in helping me realize my business’s full potential.
